The Amazon Nut tree is a large deciduous tree, with oval and green alternating leaves, which can reach up to 60 m in height and which is found in the Amazon forest basin, in South America, mainly in Brazil. The tree starts to produce “nuts” starting at 10 to 25 years which are used to produce Brazil Nut oil. Benefits: Nutritional properties, high in selenium.
