Copaiba (Copaifera officinalis)
Copaiba is a large forest tree which can reach up to 35 meters in height and 1.4 meters in diameter. Its bark is smooth, resistant and measures around one centimeter in thickness. The part used to produce oil copaiba is resin, collected directly in the trunk.
